HOW To Change PHP Version, Module and PHP Variables?

All of our cPanel Servers are running on CloudLinux OS with cPanel/WHM.

PHP Selector is a CloudLinux feature that allows each cPanel user to select PHP version, module and php variables based on their needs.

You can easily switch between several different PHP Versions such as 5.6, 7.1, 7.2 as well as enable or disable many PHP modules, such as apc, mysqli, gd, pdo, soap and etc, entirely based on your needs. It also allows user to change the PHP Variables/Settings such as: max_execution_time, upload_max_filesize, memory_limit and etc.

How to access a site temporarily without the Tide (~) sign or pointing nameserver?

As we have mod_userdir protection for a few servers, clients hosted on those servers will not be view website using tide(~) sign. So, this knowledgebase will guide a secondary method to view the site without the tide(~) sign. mod_userdir protection is enabled for security reason.

Browse the following directory in your C Drive >> Windows >> System32 >> Drivers >> Etc >> Edit the file named “hosts” with a notepad.

By default, there should be a line like this:

“127.0.0.1 localhost”

Go to the next line and add this:

104.156.55.184 aptcom.info
104.156.55.184 www.aptcom.info
